I have done some work on the final implementation of the Active Dynamic Backgrounds that is going to be featured in the new version of Genesis v2.0 (Project Ruby).

This version is still being developed, however you can go and download the prelimenary release on Code Plex. This version is currently nothing more than a PRISM shell ready for you to write your own modules. If you use this shell, you don't have to spend all of the time to set up your infrastructure.

As I have said, the code is still in development. A more comprehensive blog entry and article will follow as soon as I've made the release sometime this week.

This version is improved by seperating the background logic from the MainWindow.xaml file as in the Silverlight sample into the actual background. You can now pass the Type of the shape, Background brush and some other settings using XAML.

I'd like to hear some comments from folks who have been trying it.
